5. Editing categories terms

There are a number of categories used throughout the site for various reasons.

5.1. Category groups

Category groups include:

• Accommodation type: used to group types of holiday accommodation (e.g. Camping, Touring, Lodges).
• Accommodation tags: used to add additional attributes to accommodation (e.g. 'Pet friendly', 'Hot tub').
• Activity type: used to group types of activities (e.g. Kids, Music, Adventure).
• Holiday home type: used to group types of caravan/lodge units (e.g. Lodges).

5.2. Adding new terms

In order to add or edit terms you will need to:

1. Click on 'Shortcuts' in the admin tool bar and choose either 'Categories'.
2. Find the category group you wish to add terms to, and click the 'List terms' button in the the rightmost column.
3. Click the '+ Add term' button at the top of the page. 
4. Enter the name of the term, and if you wish a description for your own reference. 
5. Click 'Save'

5.3. Editing existing terms

In order to add or edit terms you will need to:

1. Click on 'Shortcuts' in the admin toolbar and choose either 'Categories'.
2. Find the category group you wish to add terms to, and click the 'List terms' button in the rightmost column. 
3. From the list of terms, find the one you wish to edit and click the 'Edit' button in the rightmost column. 
4. Update the details or click 'Save', or alternatively delete the term if you no longer want it.
